When using state and country picklists in Salesforce, we suggest that you set the global field types for the state and country default fields to text in Account Engagement. This ensures that Account Engagement will accept any value coming from Salesforce. However, in order to sync from Account Engagement to Salesforce, values coming from Account Engagement will need to exactly match Salesforce's Integration Value (found in Salesforce by navigating to Setup > Data Management > State and Country Picklists).
If the values coming from Account Engagement don't match Salesforce's Integration Values exactly, you'll get a sync error in Account Engagement. In this article, we'll walk you through how to use Salesforce state and country picklists with Account Engagement in several different scenarios.
