Related list for an Object does not appear in Lightning

Publiceringsdatum: Jun 22, 2026
Beskrivning

If an object's Related List appears in Salesforce Classic but not in Lightning Experience, the issue is typically caused by one of two things: Field Level Security (FLS) is not set to Read for all profiles, or the affected profile is assigned to a Lightning Record Page that does not include the Related List component. This article explains how to diagnose and resolve both causes.

Step 1: Check Field Level Security (FLS)

To display the Related List in Lightning Experience, the object's Field Level Security must be set to Read for all applicable profiles.

Verify that the field used by the lookup relationship is visible for every profile that requires access to the Related List.

Step 2: Verify Lightning Record Page Assignment

If the required Field Level Security permissions are already in place, verify that the affected profile is assigned to the correct Lightning Record Page. If your object uses multiple Lightning Record Pages, the assigned page may not include the Related List component.

To determine which Lightning Record Page is assigned:

  1. From Setup, go to Object Manager.
  2. Select the affected object.
  3. Click Lightning Record Pages.
  4. Click View Page Assignments.
  5. Under Look Up An Assignment, select the appropriate App, Record Type, and Profile combination.
  6. Click Find Page to identify the assigned Lightning Record Page.

Step 3: Add the Related List Component

If the assigned Lightning Record Page does not include the Related List component:

  1. Open the affected record.
  2. Click the Gear icon and select Edit Page.
  3. From the left panel, drag the Related Lists component to the desired location on the page.
  4. Click Save.
