Clear the Triggered Send queue in Marketing Cloud

There are several Options and Allowed Actions for the Triggered Send Queue. This article explains how to Clear the queue.  Also, there is an expiration period for triggered sends that have been queued, find more info here .

Note:  As of the August 2021 Release, it is now possible to clear the Queue for Journey Builder Sends.

Note: Before clearing the queue, Export your Triggered Send queue's data  for future reference.

Follow this step-by-step video to clear the Triggered Send Queue


 

  1. Go to the Interactions tab |  Select Triggered Sends.
  2. Select the checkbox for the Triggered Send you'd like to clear.
  3. Click Pause.
  4. Select the checkbox for the same Triggered Send. 
  5. Click View Queue
  6. Click Clear Queue
Note: Depending on the number of sends in the queue, you may need to repeat step 5 to clear the queue of Subscribers.

 

  1. Select the checkbox for the same Triggered Send.
  2. Click Start/Restart.
