Admins may wish to turn "Einstein Automation" off to ensure all Salesforce authentication prompts upon login are not using automation. Einstein Automation within the Salesforce Authenticator App identifies potential trusted locations from your activity, and prompts you to save for automation. To disable Einstein authentication automation in the Salesforce authenticator app perform the following:
1. In the app on the phone: Open the Salesforce Authenticator app > Click the wrench circular icon > go to automation settings> and turn off the toggle for Einstein Automation.
2. From Salesforce Setup, enter Session Settings in the Quick Find box, then select Session Settings.
Go to Identity Verification section and uncheck the following to ensure automation is disabled:
(remove) Let Salesforce Authenticator automatically verify identities using geolocation.
(remove) Let Salesforce Authenticator automatically verify identities based on trusted IP addresses only
