Dataflow Error: "Error During Local Fetch. Can't Find Base Edgemart" in CRM Analytics

Date de publication: Jun 29, 2026
Description

When running a CRM Analytics Dataflow, the job may fail with an error message similar to:

"Something went wrong while executing the [node name] node: Error during local fetch. Can't find base edgemart ../../[dataset Id]/[dataset version Id] ([dataflow Id])"

This error means the Dataflow attempted to reference a dataset that does not yet exist or has not been fully created in the org. The most common cause is that the SFDC_LOCAL data sync did not complete successfully before the Dataflow was triggered. The SFDC_LOCAL connection is responsible for syncing Salesforce object data into CRM Analytics. If it is incomplete or has not run, the Dataflow cannot find the source datasets it depends on.

Résolution

This error is caused by the SFDC_LOCAL data sync not completing before the Dataflow runs. To resolve this, manually trigger the SFDC_LOCAL data sync and wait for it to complete successfully before re-running the Dataflow.
Follow these steps:

  1. In Salesforce Setup, search for Analytics in the Quick Find box and click Settings (or navigate to Setup > Analytics > Settings).
  2. Confirm that Enable Data Sync and Connections is checked. If it is not checked, enable it.
  3. Open the App Launcher and navigate to Data Manager.
  4. Click Connections in the left navigation pane.
  5. Locate the SFDC_LOCAL connection. Click the overflow menu (three dots) and select Run Now.
  6. Wait for all SFDC_LOCAL data sync jobs to complete with a Successful status before proceeding.
  7. In the lower-left navigation pane, click Manage Dataflows and switch to the Dataflows tab.
  8. Locate the failing Dataflow. Click the overflow menu and select Run Now.

Once the SFDC_LOCAL sync has completed and the Dataflow has been re-run, the "Can't find base edgemart" error should be resolved.
Note: If this error recurs regularly, review the scheduling of your SFDC_LOCAL data sync and Dataflow jobs to ensure the sync always completes before the Dataflow is triggered.
