Account Engagement Salesforce Connector error 'Deduplication matching rule conflict:'

Veröffentlichungsdatum: Sep 30, 2025
Beschreibung
This is a common Salesforce connector sync error that can show in Account Engagement. This error means that either the Account Engagement connector user does not have the recommended object permissions to see this record or there is a rule in Salesforce causing the duplicate.
Lösung
Admins in Salesforce can configure duplicate rules to look for potential duplicate records in Salesforce. The error typically means that information Account Engagement is trying to send to Salesforce matches one of these rules and the creation of a new record is being prevented. To resolve this issue, please try one or more of the following:

a) Adjust the object settings on the connector user's Salesforce user profile for visibility. If the Salesforce connector user cannot see a specific record, it may be trying to create a duplicate record instead of syncing with an existing record.
b) Adjust the Salesforce duplicate rules so that they do not apply to the connector user's Salesforce user profile. This action is necessary if the duplicate rules are too strict and are not allowing Account Engagement to create new records in Salesforce.
c) Use an existing record to sync instead or merge the records.
d) Edit the Account Engagement prospect's data so that it no longer matches the duplicate rule.

After fixing the above, in Account Engagement, follow these instructions to clear the sync errors.
