Understanding HTML and Text email sending in Account Engagement

Most email servers require a text version to be attached when sending an HTML email, in the event that they are unable to accept the HTML version. However, in most cases when sending an HTML/Text email, you will only see 1 email. This is because most email servers combine both the HTML and Text into one.
Solución
In Account Engagement, when in the Testing tab, sending a test email to 1 person, Account Engagement sends both the HTML and Text versions of the email as separate messages.
If you send using a "Test List", Account Engagement sends the HTML+Text version combined as one message, and the recipient's email client settings will determine which version of the email that is displayed.
You are able to see what is in the Text or HTML version in the Building tab of your email. There are 4 sub tabs under the Building step when editing the email:
- Editor
- HTML
- Preview
- Text
 
In the Text tab, you can hit the button 'Sync from HTML' to pull in all your content from the HTML version. We recommend doing this in case your prospects are unable to receive or render HTML emails but at least they can still be receiving or reading the content of your email from the Text version.
