1) Keep records in Salesforce open for as little time as possible.
We recommend not leaving Salesforce records in “edit” mode for extended periods of time. It’s best to edit as quickly as possible, to minimize the time that screen is open, and to make all edits at once (rather than repeatedly editing + saving in quick succession). That will help reduce the chance that Account Engagement will try to access the record at the same time.
2) Try refreshing the page before trying to edit and save a record.
3) If a user sees a data collision error, try making the edit again.
Oftentimes, users can hit the “back” button in their browser, and the data from the edit session will still be retained. Users will not be able to save it, but the users can copy the information, open a new edit session, enter the information, and save it.
