This record was modified by the Salesforce-Account Engagement Connector User during your edit session error

게시 일자: Sep 30, 2025
상세 설명
This error is a result of a user’s editing session in Salesforce overlapping with the regular sync cycle between Account Engagement and Salesforce. Every ~2 minutes, Account Engagement checks for recently updated Salesforce records by referencing the “last modified” timestamp. When syncing, the Account Engagement connector user (also sometimes known as the 'b2bma integration user') has to edit and save the record(s). If Account Engagement saves the record while a user is editing, they could see that error upon saving their changes. Read Collision Detection error ‘Changes cannot be saved’ when a record is edited for more information.
솔루션
Typically, this can be avoided with some best practices.

1) Keep records in Salesforce open for as little time as possible.
We recommend not leaving Salesforce records in “edit” mode for extended periods of time. It’s best to edit as quickly as possible, to minimize the time that screen is open, and to make all edits at once (rather than repeatedly editing + saving in quick succession). That will help reduce the chance that Account Engagement will try to access the record at the same time.

2) Try refreshing the page before trying to edit and save a record.

3) If a user sees a data collision error, try making the edit again.
Oftentimes, users can hit the “back” button in their browser, and the data from the edit session will still be retained. Users will not be able to save it, but the users can copy the information, open a new edit session, enter the information, and save it.
