1) Navigate to Admin > Connectors in pi.pardot.com or Account Engagement Settings > Connectors in Account Engagement Lightning App
2) Click the gear icon next to the Salesforce connector, then click 'Unverify'.
3) Once the connector is unverified, click the gear icon next to the Salesforce connector again, then click Delete.
These steps stop Account Engagement from syncing to Salesforce, and removes the connector from Account Engagement.
If you do not see the "Unverify" option, this means you have a V2 connector. In this case, for step 2 above, instead of clicking on "Unverify", click on "Pause". The v2 connector cannot be deleted, but pausing it will stop all communication.
Note:
Before you uninstall the Account Engagement AppExchange package from your Salesforce org, back up any Account Engagement-related Salesforce data you want to keep. Once the data is deleted, there is no way to recover it.
After the connector has been deleted from Account Engagement, have a Salesforce admin uninstall the Account Engagement AppExchange package. For more help with this, see Salesforce's article Uninstalling a Package.
