Queue List View Not Automatically Created for Certain Objects

Data pubblicazione: Apr 2, 2026
Descrizione

In Salesforce, creating a Queue for most supported objects (such as Cases or Leads) automatically generates a corresponding public list view with the queue’s name.

However, this behavior does not apply to all objects. For certain standard objects, list views are not created automatically when a Queue is defined.

Known Exceptions (Expected Behavior):

  • Order
  • Knowledge Articles (Knowledge__kav)
  • Service Contracts

For these objects, you must manually create a list view to view records assigned to the Queue.

Risoluzione

For objects where a Queue list view is not created automatically, manually create a list view using the steps below based on your user interface.

For Lightning Experience Users

  1. Navigate to the relevant object tab (for example, Orders).
  2. Click the List View Controls (gear icon) and select New.
  3. Enter a name for the list view (for example, High Priority Orders Queue).
  4. Choose the visibility (for example, All users can see this list view).

  6. Add filter criteria:
    • Field: Owner Alias
    • Operator: equals
    • Value: Enter the exact alias of the Queue
  7. Click Save.

  6. Select the fields to display.
  7. Set visibility as needed.
