How to Increase:

This limit can only be increased through a Salesforce edition upgrade. Contact your Account Executive to discuss upgrade options.

Prerequisites:

Before reaching out to your Account Executive, review your current Active Validation Rules usage in Setup to confirm you have reached or are approaching your edition's limit.

How to Check Your Current Active Validation Rules Limit:

In Lightning Experience:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
  2. Select Setup.
  3. Click the Object Manager tab.
  4. Select the object you want to review.
  5. Click Object Limits.
  6. Check the Active Validation Rules row.

In Salesforce Classic:

  1. Go to Setup.
  2. Type the name of the object you want to review in the Quick Find box.
  3. Click Limits.
  4. Check the Active Validation Rules row.

The Active Validation Rules limit can only be increased through a Salesforce edition upgrade. Salesforce Support is not able to increase this limit directly.

Requesting a Limit Increase:

To increase your Active Validation Rules limit, please contact your Salesforce Account Executive to discuss upgrading your organization's edition.

  • Salesforce Support cannot increase this limit — requests must go through your Account Executive.
