Account Engagement prospect Sync Error: "Field Integrity Exception: There's a problem with this country/state, even though it may appear correct"

Fecha de publicación: Sep 30, 2025
Descripción
This is a common Salesforce connector sync error that can show in Account Engagement. This error usually occurs when Salesforce country/state picklists are enabled and the Country or State field in the Account Engagement prospect record contains a value that isn’t compatible with the Salesforce picklists. The values in Account Engagement must match the "Integration Value" set for the Country or State in the Salesforce "State and Country/Territory Picklists" configuration settings.

Errors:
1. Field Integrity Exception: There's a problem with this country, even though it may appear correct. Please select a country/territory from the list of valid countries.: Country
2. Field Integrity Exception: There's a problem with this state, even though it may appear correct. Please select a state from the list of valid states.: State/Province
Solución
For the Country error, this typically occurs if the value in the Country field has been misspelled or if the prospect field is using the abbreviated form (US) of the country versus the long form (United States).

For the State/Province error, there are a few potential sources of error:
1. The prospect field is using the abbreviated state/province code (CA) instead of the long form (California).
2. The state/province selected isn’t compatible with the country value on the prospect record or the default country value set by Salesforce picklist. For example, if United States was matched up with Quebec, this would cause the error.

To resolve:

1. Review how to set up the State/Country picklists in Account Engagement following these instructions.

2. In Salesforce, ask an Administrator to make sure the field values match in both systems - in other words, that they have the exact same format in the field values. This can be accomplished by manually editing prospect records or via a prospect import into Account Engagement.

3. In Account Engagement, follow these instructions.
