Task Reminder limitation in Salesforce Mobile App

• Use Case: "I would like my Mobile Device to get a Push Notification Reminder when it's 15 minutes before my Task's Due Time / Event's Start Time."
• It is not possible to get a Reminder as a Mobile Push Notification.

Task Reminder setup in Salesforce Mobile App

• Use Case: "I am creating (or editing) a Task / Event in Salesforce Mobile App. I would like to set a Reminder that will show up in the Desktop browser when it's 15 minutes before my Task's Due Time / Event Start Time.":
• It is possible to set the Reminder for a Desktop browser pop up, by these settings:
  • Uncheck the Activity Setting "Show simpler New Task form on mobile"
  • Add the 'Reminder Set' field to the Layout:
    • For standard New or Edit, add the field to the Enhanced Page Layout
    • For Global Actions or Object Specific Actions, check the Action Layout
• Please note: the resulting Reminder pops up on Desktop browser only. It will not show up as a Push Notification on the Mobile Device.
