Disable Task Reminders

Kuvaus
When you create new Tasks, the reminder button is selected by default. The reminder can be turned off through the following methods:
- Manually uncheck the box
- Mark the Task as completed
- Dismiss the Task
Note: If Activity reminders isn't available in your settings, you must enable it first.
1. Go to:
Salesforce Classic: Setup
Lightning Experience: Gear icon | Setup
2. On the Quick Find box, enter Activity Settings and click on it.
3. Check Enable Activity Reminders.
4. Click on Submit.

Disable the Task reminder
- Navigate to your personal settings page.
- For Salesforce Classic: Access Your Personal Settings in Salesforce Classic.
- For Lightning Experience: Access Your Personal Settings in Lightning Experience.
- Go to Calendar and Reminders.
- Select Activity Reminders.
- Deselect Set default task and all-day appointment reminders to.
- Click Save.
Note: Disabling Task reminders in Classic will also disable reminders in LEX. Therefore, if LEX task reminders is on, but Classic task reminders is off, the task reminders won't work in LEX. If end users need LEX task reminders on, end user need to make sure both LEX task reminders and Classic task reminders are on.
