Abandoned Salesforce Chats Occur Between 150-152 Seconds

There are Chat transcripts that show missed chats that are abandoned after 150 to 152 seconds. 

解決策
The 150 seconds is the default value set on the Chat Deployment. Please refer to Live Agent Deployment Settings for more details.

By default, sessions are marked idle after 40 seconds, and expired after another 110 seconds. Below are potential scenarios why a client may disconnect and show abandoned after 150 seconds:
  • Chasitor (client) lost their network connection 
  • Chasitor has changed browser tabs. If the user happens to leave the tab up for a second or two, then backgrounds it, the time will be about 152 seconds
  • Chasitor has put to background their browser on a mobile platform (this is at least true for iOS/Safari, but may behave differently on other mobile platforms). 
  • Chasitor refreshed or hit the back button on their chat window which submits a new chat, while the previous session will ultimately time out.
