Account Engagement email template not available for Salesforce Engage or Engagement Studio

After creating and publishing an email template in Account Engagement, the template might not be available in the 'Send Email' step in an Engagement Studio program or within Salesforce to 'Send Engage Email'. Learn how to ensure this template can be made visible for a user.

The Account Engagement template doesn't display when a user selects the "Send Email" step in an Engagement Studio program:

1) Ensure that the template has been published and isn't a template draft. More about creating and publishing an email template can be found here.
2) Ensure that the template has been made available for "Engagement Program Emails".  

To enable this:

  1. Edit the email template.
  2. Click the Basic Info button on the right-hand side of the editor.
  3. Scroll down to "Available for" and enable "Engagement Program Emails".
  4. Save the template and click Publish to Template to commit the change to the published template.

Tip:
To enable or disable the "Available for" option(s) for multiple published templates, select the desired templates and use the table action to enable or disable what the templates are available for. An example of a table action can be found here. 


The Account Engagement template doesn't display in Salesforce via "Send Engage Email" and selecting an email template:

1) Ensure that the template has been published and isn't a template draft. More about creating and publishing an email template can be found here.
2) Ensure that the template has been made available for "One to one emails". 

To enable this:

  1. Edit the email template.
  2. Click the Basic Info button on the right-hand side of the editor.
  3. Scroll down to "Available for" and enable "One to one emails".
  4. Save the template and click "Publish to Template" to commit the change to the published template.
