Experience Site login page loads when administrator accesses the ‘Experience Workspace’

Data pubblicazione: Nov 19, 2025
Descrizione
As an administrator I am taken to the Experience Site login page when accessing Experience Workspaces from Setup. I am then unable to access the Experience Site even though I am providing the correct login credentials. This also affects accessing the published site when navigating to the site URL via the link provided in Setup | Digital Experiences | All Sites as well as from the App Launcher in Lightning Experience. When I switch to Classic the Global Header does not allow me to select a site to log into.

If the scenario is occurring, the following may be true regarding Experience Site Login Session Settings:

  • For the affected profile the following settings is likely enabled: Separate Experience Cloud site and Salesforce login authentication for employees.
  • The site you are unable to log into after accessing Workspaces has the following login preference disabled: Allow employees to log in directly to an Experience Cloud site.
  • The Disable Lock sessions to the IP address from which they originated may need to be adjusted.
  • The Enforce login IP ranges on every request may need to be adjusted.
  • The Lock sessions to the domain in which they were first used may need to be adjusted.

  9. You can now access Workspaces normally without the need of a second login to the site.

  1. Follow the above steps to disable "Separate Experience Cloud site and Salesforce login authentication for employees" (This is required in order to access the needed settings).
  2. Once you have established a new login session you should now have access to Workspaces.
  3. Go to:
    • Salesforce Classic: Setup | Digital Experiences | All Sites | Workspaces (for the affected site you need access to)
    • Lightning Experience: Gear icon | Setup | Digital Experiences | All Sites | Workspaces (for the affected site you need access to)

Option 3: Disable the following Session Settings: Lock sessions to the IP address from which they originated, Lock sessions to the domain in which they were first used, Enforce login IP ranges on every request. The steps for this are:

  1. Navigate to:

    • Lock sessions to the domain in which they were first used
    • Enforce login IP ranges on every request
  3. Save.

Please note: These settings are only available in EnterprisePerformanceUnlimited and Developer Editions organizations. If your organization is not among these, then you will not have access to this setting.
