Supported HTML Tags for CPQ Template Content

When creating HTML Template Content for use with Salesforce CPQ Quote Templates, the supported HTML Tags and Tag Attributes must be considered. Using unsupported HTML results in unanticipated behavior, including, but not limited to a blank template section.

HTML Tags that are supported by CPQ document generation:

  • html
  • br
  • div
  • p
  • em
  • li
  • ol
  • strike
  • strong
  • b
  • i
  • u
  • ul
  • a
  • img
  • span
  • sub
  • sup

 

HTML Tag Attributes that are supported by CPQ document generation:

  • style
  • href
  • src
  • alt
NOTE: These Tag Attributes do not apply to every HTML Tag above.


ADDITIONAL NOTES:
  • To preserve font formatting, you need to use CSS to style your Tags. Below is a supported example of HTML font formatting:
<p style="color:blue">Include Some BLUE Text Here</p>
  • Font styling can introduce line breaks. When using multiple methods of font styling, the generated document may display unexpected spacing or formatting next to the styled font.
