Rounding format for values displayed in CRM Analytics

Publiseringsdato: Aug 3, 2023
Beskrivelse

To simplify the display of values on CRM Analytics visualizations, the values are rounded and displayed in a truncated format. This allows for a more compact and less cluttered display. More information about the "Shorten Number" functionality is available here.

Value Rounding and Truncation

Values are rounded and displayed according to their order of magnitude as follows:
10^-3#.#
10^-2#.#
10^-1#.#
1#
10##
100###
10^3#.#K
10^4##K
10^5###K
10^6#.#M
10^7##M
10^8###M
10^9#.#B
10^10##B
10^11###B
10^12#.#T
10^13##T
10^14###T

This pattern continues.

Modify Display of Measures

The Precision and Scale parameters in the sfdcDigest metadata or External Data Metadata will control the values stored in the measure. The display is controlled via Extended Metadata (XMD).

To display measures in a different format, change the format defined in the XMD for the specific measure in the Dataset Fields functionality.
