Share object files with Digital Experience Site Users

Use Chatter Publisher to share files with Digital Experience Site Users

In Lightning Experience

1. On the Chatter tab, click Post.
2. Click the paper clip icon.
3. Click Upload Files.
4. Select your file.
5. Click Add.
6. In 'To,' select All with access.
7. Click Share.

1. On the Chatter feed, click Post or File action.
2. Click the file icon.
3. Select either Select a file from Salesforce or Upload a file from your computer.

1. If you choose 'Upload a file from your computer'

1. Click Browse and select your file.
2. Click Open.

2. If you choose 'Select a file from Salesforce'

1. Enter the file name in the search box.
2. Click Attach.

4. In 'Who can see your post?' select All with access.
5. Click Share.

Notes: 

• By default, files uploaded by internal users are only visible internally while files uploaded by Digital Experience Site users are visible to 'All with access'.
• When adding a Knowledge Article, the File will not appear in the File Related List. The Digital Experience Site user will only be able to see the File in the Chatter post.
