The Quote Line object has the same Start Date, Subscription Term, and End Date field as the Quote object. Same goes for the Quote Line Group object if you use it in your quotes. There's an inheritance mechanism from Quote to Quote Line Group to Quote Line.
Therefore, if you want a Quote Line to use a different term than the one specified with the Quote fields, expose those fields (either End Date or Subscription Term) in the Line Editor by updating the Quote Line Object's "Line Editor" Field Set. You only need to populate the value on the Quote Lines that have a different term than the Quote.
NOTE: You should set either the Subscription Term or the End Date. If you set both, the End Date supersedes the Subscription Term.
