Guidance for Success in Sales Path Not Displaying on Lead Object

An administrator configures a Sales Path on a Lead record in Lightning Experience, but the Guidance for Success section does not appear. This typically occurs when the Sales Path is assigned to the Master Record Type instead of a specific Record Type.

Lösning

To display Guidance for Success on a Lead record, administrators must create a Sales Path assigned to a specific Record Type rather than the Master Record Type.

The Sales Path doesn't apply to all when selecting the Master Record Type. In order to view the Guidance to Success for Lead, Administrators need to create a new Sales Path assigning it to the specific Record Type.

After creating the New Sales Path, Administrators can follow the steps below to publish:

Note: To display the Guidance, there is a Drop Down option to display the Guidance for Success.

Lightning Experience:

1. Click the gear icon then Setup.
2. User InterfacePath Settings
3. Click New Path or Edit on your existing path.
4. Assign a record type for the path. (Note: Other fields aside from the record type must be populated before proceeding. These are: Path Name, API Reference Name (auto-populated), Object, and Picklist.)
5. Click Next.
6. Specify your "Guidance for Success" on each step.
7. Click Next
8. Make sure your path is activated and then click Finish.

The Guidance for Success is visible only for picklist value, since the "Converted" Values of the Lead Stage are not considered as picklist values, the Guidance for Success content is not going to be visible.
