Show the Sum of Products associated to Opportunities on the Account object

Description
To get the count of total number of Products associated to Opportunity records on the Account Record Page.
Résolution

As per Salesforce relationship Opportunities are related to Accounts and Products to Opportunities via OpportunityLineItem.

Account (Parent) | Opportunity (Child) | Products(Opportunity Product) (Grand Child).

All are related to each other through Master-Detail relationships. 

So to get the count of Products on Account object at the record level, we can create Rollup Summary fields.

1. 
Classic: Click Setup | Customize | Opportunities | Fields | New
Lightning: Click the Gear icon | Setup | Object Manager | Opportunity | Fields & Relationships | New
2. Data Type - Roll-Up Summary and then click Next
3. Enter the Field label and name then click Next
3. Summarized Object: Opportunity Product
4. Roll-Up Type: COUNT
5. Filter Criteria: All records should be included in the calculation(If you have any specific criteria, you may select "Only records meeting certain criteria should be included in the calculation") then click Next
6. Make it visible to the necessary Profiles and click Next
7. Add the new Field in the appropriate Page Layouts
8. Save

The above field will give you a COUNT of Products related to an Opportunity.

Classic: Click Setup | Customize | Accounts | Fields | New
Lightning: Click the Gear icon | Setup | Object Manager | Account | Fields & Relationships | New
10. Data Type - Roll-Up Summary and then click Next
11. Enter the Field label and name then click Next
12. Summarized Object: Opportunity
13. Roll-Up Type: SUM
14. Field to Aggregate: (select the Roll-Up Summary Field created above with the COUNT Roll-Up Type)
15. Filter Criteria: All records should be included in the calculation(If you have any specific criteria, you may select "Only records meeting certain criteria should be included in the calculation") then click Next
16. Make it visible to the necessary Profiles and click Next
17. Add the new Field in the appropriate Page Layouts
18. Save

The above field will give you the SUM of Products associated with various Opportunities to that Account.
