Salesforce for Outlook (SFO) is a Salesforce integration add-in for Microsoft Outlook that syncs contacts, events, tasks, and emails between Outlook and Salesforce.
These instructions are for IT workers or advanced users who know how to view and edit the Windows Registry. If the SFO uninstallation or installation fails for any reason, use this article to manually clean up your machine and remove all the registry entries, files, and folders from your computer.

Uninstall Salesforce for Outlook (SFO) from Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features:
Alternatively, run the uninstall from the Command Prompt using the appropriate installer for your system architecture:
Open the Registry Editor and get the package code from the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer\UpgradeCodes\D0ADED3E72A08C94A884F94BF6BDD963
Note: This key only exists if SFO was installed using the "Me Only" (Per User) option, or for SFO versions 2.5 through 2.7 which only install for the current user.
Delete the following registry keys:
Examples by SFO version:
For SFO 3.3.0, the product key is: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer\Products\ADA6E6116A3152749B478E9015E32E33
For SFO 2.7, the product key is: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer\Products\E06DEC2F22E20884D812A3EAB1D06EDC
Delete the following registry key:
[HKLM | HKCU]\[Wow6432Node]\Software\salesforce.com\Salesforce for Outlook
Delete the following add-in registry keys. Note that depending on how the application was installed (Per Machine vs. Per User) and the bitness of Windows and Office, the add-ins may be located in different areas (HKLM, HKCU, or Wow6432Node):
Replace XX.0 in the key paths below with the registry version number that corresponds to your Outlook version:
Delete the following registry keys, substituting the correct version number:
Delete the following registry key:

This step is optional. Delete the following registry key:

Additionally, search the registry for each of the following keywords and delete any keys and subkeys that contain them:
Delete the following folder: %APPDATA%\salesforce.com\Salesforce for Outlook\
This resolves to: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\salesforce.com\Salesforce for Outlook\
Delete the following folder: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\salesforce.com\Salesforce for Outlook\
