Inactive Picklist Values removed from Report Buckets

A picklist value is automatically deleted from the bucket when it is removed from the picklist definition.

For example, if you have bucketed opportunities by a custom Stage picklist value called Pilot and then deactivate that picklist value, the Pilot bucket entry is automatically removed from any report bucket columns referencing that field.

Lösning

In the Opportunities with Products report type, the Product Date and Product: Month fields are populated based on the Date field (API Name: ServiceDate) on the Opportunity Product record.

If the Date field on the Opportunity Product is blank, the value from the Close Date field (API Name: CloseDate) on the Opportunity record is automatically returned.

The specific rules are as follows:

When the Opportunity Product Date Field Has a Value

  • Product Date: Displays the value of the Date field on the Opportunity Product.
  • Product: Month: Displays the first day of the month for the Date field on the Opportunity Product.

When the Opportunity Product Date Field Is Blank

  • Product Date: Displays the value of the Close Date field on the Opportunity.
  • Product: Month: Displays the first day of the month for the Close Date field on the Opportunity.
