'Show Values' Option Unavailable in Dashboard Components and Report Charts

Beschreibung
When clicking Edit Attributes in a Dashboard Component and then on the Formatting tab on the Component Editor screen, there are options for Data Labels. If you don't see the "Show Values" label, this is expected behavior. The option is only available when using certain components and report chart types, which is outlined below.

Check your Report Chart and Dashboard Component


"Show Values" is available in the following:
 
  • Horizontal Bar Chart and Vertical Bar Chart - "Show Values" available only when the Group By option under Component Data tab is "None", OR when Group By option has a value selected and the Grouping display is selected as "Side-by-side". It is NOT available when Grouping display is selected as "Stacked" or "Stacked to 100%."
 
  • Line Chart, Pie Chart, Donut Chart, and Funnel Chart - "Show Values" available only when the Group By option under Component Data tab is "None." 
Note: "Show Values" is not available for Line Chart in Lightning Experience's Report Chart.
