How to Disable Data Sync and Connections in CRM Analytics

Fecha de publicación: Jun 29, 2026
Descripción

Overview
In CRM Analytics, Data Sync and Connections is the feature that allows CRM Analytics to ingest data from Salesforce and external sources on a scheduled basis. There are scenarios where an administrator may need to disable this feature — for example, during maintenance windows, troubleshooting data refresh issues, or when switching to a different data ingestion strategy.
Important Considerations Before Disabling
Before disabling Data Sync and Connections in CRM Analytics, be aware of the following impacts:

  • The Data Sync and Connections schedule is permanently lost when disabled. Make note of the current schedule configuration before proceeding, so it can be re-entered when re-enabling.
  • Dataflow definitions no longer validate on upload while Data Sync and Connections is disabled. This may result in invalid syntax or field and object access issues in future dataflow runs after re-enabling.

Step 2 – Deselect Data Sync and Connections
On the Analytics Settings page, locate the "Enable Data Sync and Connections" checkbox and deselect it.
