Note: Applies to Marketing Cloud Enterprise 2.0 accounts only. Not sure what type of account you have? Review Editions for more information.
This process assigns Business Units to the Marketing Cloud API User for Marketing Cloud Enterprise 2.0 accounts.
The Marketing Cloud Connect API User’s Business Unit access in the Marketing Cloud determines which Business Units are available for use within the Sales or Service Cloud.
Note 1: Repeat this process when creating business units in the future for use with Marketing Cloud Connect.
Note 2: If you are using Multi-Org, then the Default Business Unit of the Marketing Cloud API User may vary, depending on what Business Units are integrated.
For example, if the top-level Business Unit is not connected and Child Business Unit 1 is connected, then the Marketing Cloud API User's Default Business Unit should be Child Business Unit 1, and not the top-level Business Unit.
