Discrepancies between my web analytics tools and Account Engagement Reports

Fecha de publicación: Sep 30, 2025
Descripción
Sometimes Account Engagement's report statistics show more engagement or less engagement than other analytics tools, like Google Analytics. The most common reason for this discrepancy is a difference in how third-party analytics tools measure engagement vs how Account Engagement measures engagement. For example, when looking at Landing Page reporting, third-party analytics count a page view when JavaScript code loads and runs. If the page is closed before the JavaScript has time to run, or if it is prevented from running from a browser extension or add-on, then the Third-party analytics tools typically wouldn't count the page view. It is expected behavior to sometimes see reporting discrepancies between Account Engagement metrics and your third-party reporting tools.
