Account Engagement  no longer offers new Training Environments and we recommend using Account Engagement  Sandboxes instead.

Account Engagement Training Environments were complimentary to existing customers as a second account for testing and training. Although bulk email sending is disabled in these accounts, all the other Account Engagement functionalities are available.

Can I request anAccount Engagement Training Environment?

With the replacement of Account Engagement Authentication with Salesforce SSO, new Training Environments are no longer provisioned. For all testing needs, it is recommended that you use Account Engagement Sandboxes.

Is a Training Environment a sandbox?

No. Each Account Engagement org is completely independent. Moving items from a Training Environment to another Account Engagement account is not possible, items must be manually recreated. However, you can export and import prospects and users, and copy-paste HTML code for layout and email templates. For more information see Managing Users and Preferences.

Can I send emails with my Training Environment?

Training Environments cannot send regular list emails, one-to-one emails, drips, or automation-based emails. However, they can send autoresponders and system emails.
 

How long will we have this training environment for?

Your training environment will be valid for 1 year from the day it is created.
 

I do not have access to my company's existing Training Environment

If the user is not in that existing TE, they need to be added by an admin present in that Training Environment. If there is no user in that Training Environment, they will need to provide C-level approval .
 

How to Connect Account Engagement Training Environment to Salesforce Sandbox for the first time or after Salesforce Sandbox refresh

1) Open the Connector page on Account Engagement.
- In Account Engagement, select Admin and then Connectors.
- In the Lightning app, select Account Engagement Settings, and then Connectors.
2) If no Salesforce connector exists, continue from step #4.
3) If Salesforce connector already exists, delete this connector (Usually after Salesforce Sandbox Refresh).
4) Click + Add Connector.
5) Click Salesforce.
6) Check the checkbox which says 'Sandbox'
7) Click Create Connector.
8) Log in to Salesforce using the connector user’s Sandbox credentials.
9) After you’re logged in, click Allow to give the connector user access to your account.
10) Choose your connector settings.
11) Click Finish.

 

Can I change the email address of the user for the Training Environment?

Yes, you can edit any user.

 

Can I transfer data from my original org to a Training Environment?

No, these are independent orgs and data cannot be transferred between them. However, you can migrate some data manually as indicated in this article.
 

Can I use connected campaigns in training environment?

Yes you can. As long as the feature functionality is provisioned correctly for your Production account, and the Sandbox has been recently refreshed or the Match Production Licenses process has been performed to ensure that provisioning is available to the Salesforce Sandbox. Please see this article for information on the Match Production Licenses process.
