When a Salesforce user navigates to a record page, opens the gear icon (⚙️) menu, and selects Edit Page to launch the Lightning App Builder, they may find that Chatter components — such as Chatter Publisher, Chatter Feed, and Chatter — are not available in the component panel on the left side.
This issue occurs because the Chatter components in Lightning App Builder depend on Feed Tracking being enabled for the object associated with the record page. Feed Tracking is a Salesforce feature that monitors changes to records and posts updates to the Chatter feed. If Feed Tracking is not enabled for the object, the Chatter-related components are hidden and cannot be added to the page layout.
To make Chatter components available in the Lightning App Builder for a specific object's record page, you must enable Feed Tracking for that object.
