Delete or remove an object from my Synchronized Entities for Synchronized Data Sources

Udgivelsesdato: Jan 3, 2025
Beskrivelse
When using the Marketing Cloud Connect managed package, you have the option in Contact Builder to setup synchronized data sources.  Synchronized Data Sources allow you to access data from Sales and Service Clouds in Marketing Cloud for use in your marketing activities. As changes occur in the Sales or Service Clouds, the Marketing Cloud receives those updates.  Once you have synced an object, you may want to pause or remove this object, review the below steps to understand how this can be achieved.
Løsning
If you no longer need data provided by a synchronized data source, you have the option to Pause synchronization and this will no longer retrieve any new records. Pause the synchronization process in Contact Builder to prevent further updates to the data synchronized from the external data source. Resume the synchronization process to refresh the data with the latest version from the external data source. Any pause or refresh performed in a multi-org environment affects all business units integrated using the same active Salesforce System user.
  1. Click Data Sources.
  2. Click Synchronized.
  3. Click the entity you wish to pause or resume.
  4. To stop the synchronization process, click Pause Sync.
  5. To resume the synchronization process, click Resume Sync.
  6. Click OK.

If you would like to delete a single synchronized object, this currently is NOT possible.  The only way to remove entities from the UI is to disconnect your integration.  This will then remove any data extensions and associated attribute group that were synced.  Information on how to disconnect can be found below:
