System-generated feeds are grouped when in Lightning

Publiseringsdato: Oct 13, 2022
Beskrivelse
Feed Tracked changes and record updates are grouped under 'system' post when in Lightning.
Løsning

Record updates are also called system-generated posts. They are updates that Salesforce automatically generates when someone creates a record or changes a tracked field on a record.

  • When a record has more than 3 Feed tracked (System generated) posts that don't have a comment, it will be collected under the 'system' post.
  • If it has more than 4 posts collected, "Show All Updates" will be available and you will be to check the information of each posts.
  • The post will be sorted by 'Most Recent Activity' which means that an oldest post can be on top of the Feed list if it has the most recent comment made. Hence will sometimes contradict the order in the Record History (Field Tracking History).
  • You can also switch to Salesforce Classic to see each posts individually and not collected under 'system' post.
  • It is not possible to delete or to control the visibility of grouped system posts. We already have an idea for this behavior. Please feel free to vote on this Idea, It should be possible to delete Feed Tracked Changes.
