Field Service Mobile Beta and Early Adopters Program

The generally available (GA) Field Service mobile app (for iOS and Android) releases are released after the major core server releases and allow the native apps to take advantage of recent new features. However, by using the following iOS and Android Beta Early Access programs, customers will have the chance to test out the upcoming mobile releases prior to them being available from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The mobile versions will become available when sandbox versions are updated with the upcoming major release. This is usually about 1 month prior to the major release GA date. In the months between major releases, there may not be a Beta version available. 

There are strict quality control guidelines which need to be met prior to Salesforce releasing a new Beta version. These could include performance, crashes, or specific issues found during testing. The Field Service team strives to release the most stable build possible. We can’t guarantee that all features will perform as expected in the Beta version. We recommend testing files, feeds, and any customizations containing flows or formula fields.
 

Notes:

• The Beta release is intended to allow customers to test the latest Salesforce features as soon as they are available. This means that the Beta app can only be used after your org has been updated to the newest version. As a result, there will be a period of time (about a month) where the Beta can only be used with Sandbox orgs. Any attempts to log into production will result in an error.
• Any use of this beta feature is subject to the Beta Services terms.
