Description
This CPQ validation "Can't edit the quantity field. To do so, update the ordered quantity field" occurs when the Quantity field on the Order Product is updated after the Order Product record's creation. As a CPQ Best Practice, the Quantity field on the Order Product should always match the Quantity field on its corresponding Quote Line.
Résolution

Update the Ordered Quantity field instead of the Quantity field to alter the Order Product's Quantity. The Quantity field is set to the Ordered Quantity field on updates.
