Reset all Prospects' (or just a select few) scores back to zero with an Automation Rule

For pi.pardot.com, follow the below steps:

1. Go to Marketing > Automation > Automation Rules > Add New Automation Rule
2. Add the required criteria that will allow prospects to match the automation rule
3. Add the action as "Adjust Prospect Score > To > 0”
4. Save Automation Rule


For Lightning, please navigate to "Automation" tab -> "Automation rules"-> "Add New Automation Rule" and follow same steps as pi.pardot.com.

 
 
Note: once prospect scores are reset, this change cannot be reverted.

If you reset your prospects' scores to zero using an automation rule and in the future you modify your baseline scoring rules, your prospects will be retroactively rescored and their scores may increase or decrease from zero.

For this reason, make any changes to your baseline scoring model in Admin > Automation Settings > Scoring Rules (in the Lightning app, Account Engagement Settings > Automation Settings > Scoring) before running a reset automation rule. Keep in mind, it can take some time for the scoring model changes to fully propagate through the account, depending on your database size. As such, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours after making the changes before resetting scores to 0 using Automation Rule.
