Salesforce CPQ validation 'Please review required configuration attributes'

Description

While configuring a product bundle, users may see the validation “Please review required configuration attributes” on the product configuration page, if one or more required Configuration Attributes are not populated. 

Résolution

Follow the steps below to populate the required Configuration Attributes and successfully save your configuration:

  1. Navigate to each of the Configuration Attributes Product configuration page and verify that the fields with a red highlight have a value populated.
  2. Click Save on the configuration and verify that no validation fires.

 

NOTE: If all shown required Configuration Attributes have a value and you still get the validation message then check the parent product record to see if there are any Configuration Attributes that are hidden. If yes, then un-check the hidden checkbox to allow the Configuration Attribute to be visible in order for an input to be entered.
