Prospects not being reassigned in Account Engagement

When a prospect is assigned in Account Engagement, Salesforce becomes the master over the assigned user, based on the record owner within the corresponding Salesforce record. Account Engagement will try to keep the assigned user aligned with the record owner. As such, if Account Engagement tries to reassign a syncing prospect, the owner will change back to the one designated within Salesforce on the next sync.
Løsning
If syncing with Salesforce, prospect reassignment will need to be handled within Salesforce. Updating the record owner will automatically reassign the prospect in Account Engagement, assuming the new owner is a mapped user in Account Engagement as well.

If this is done but the prospects are failing to be assigned to the new owner, it might be due to this user not being created and mapped in Account Engagement. Keep in mind, the user must be in both systems for this to work. You can create and map users by following these instructions, making sure you select the CRM username.
