Inbox insert availability and change Event Owner with Office 365 and Lightning Experience email

説明
When composing an email and using the Inbox "Insert Availability" feature the person composing the email can change the meeting owner away from themselves if they have write access to the person's shared calendar they are trying to set as the owner. Both users must use Inbox and be a part of the same Salesforce organization. The email will appear to come to the recipients from the new "event owner" selected. In Office 365 there are a variety of permissions users can have on shared mailboxes.

To ensure that the new meeting owner shows in the drop down list in Inbox ensure they have been through the following steps:

1. The user that needs to share their mailbox should log into Outlook webmail and then navigate their Calendar.

2. In the left hand window they see Calendars they should select their Calendar and right click it and select "Sharing Permissions".

3. In this window they can share their Calendar to the person they want to share with and here give the user the "Delegate" permission. This is the only permission that gives enough control in O365 for the user to be available as a new meeting owner in Inbox. When the delegator clicks "Done" in the sharing window an email will be sent to the user in O365 that will have access to the calendar.

4. The recipient of the sharing email needs to accept any invitation to share the users calendar. If users follow this process and give about 10 to 15 minutes for the changes to propagate, they should be able to use "Availability" with Inbox.

To use change "Event Owner" to select the user delegating their calendar ensure the delegator is also an Inbox user that has authenticated with Inbox in Outlook Integration or Einstein Activity Capture.

If using the Email Composer in Lightning Experience ensure the user's Salesforce Email address has been authenticated with their O365 account.  Users should be prompted for this authentication the first time they send an email within Salesforce after receiving the Inbox permission.  This connection can also be set from Settings | Email | Connected Accounts.

1. Compose an email in Outlook/OWA and insert the "delegate user" in the To or CC lines along with any recipients of the email.

2. Select "Event Owner" dropdown and the name of the delegator should appear in the drop down to select - this could take a moment depending on the number of delegated mailboxes the user and organization has access to.

3. Insert the Available time slots in the email and send.
