Import Error Report

If your prospect import has errors, a link to this .csv is included in the import confirmation email. This email contains the subject line “Account Engagement: Import Successful”. Within this email in red text, you will see the listed import errors. If you download that file and scroll to the last column, you’ll see the import error messages. Prospects with errors are not imported or updated, so use this .csv file to identify errors and then reimport the prospects with the updated information.

Archived Prospects
If you did not select the "Un-delete matching prospects found in the recycle bin during this import" option in the import wizard, prospects that have been archived will not be reimported.
Invalid Email
The email address is invalid. For example, the ‘@‘ symbol is missing in the email address.
Field Validation Failure
The imported field value does not match one of the predefined field values. Pre-defined values can be set on an Account Engagement default/custom field via the settings “Use pre-defined values (for checkboxes, radio buttons, drop downs, and multi-selects)” and “Validate upon import”.
Email Not Allowed
This email is not allowed. Account Engagement rejects spammy and role-based email addresses on import because they are likely to cause spam complaints and blocklisting.
Invalid according to Policy: Policy Expired
The time on your computer is incorrect. We recommend that you update your computer time using a resource like http://www.time.gov/.
Please select at least one CRM ID fieldThe import was configured to use CRM ID as the unique identifier, but the imported file does not have a corresponding CRM ID field. CRM ID is a required field when using this manner of importing prospects.

Guidelines for Prospect Field Import Validation

- If a prospect's field value fails validation, the prospect will not be imported.
- Imports that have errors can take longer to finish than imports without errors.
- Prospect import errors are listed in the import error .csv. A link to the .csv is included in the import confirmation email.
- When reimporting prospects from your error report, either delete or don't map the error type and error description columns.
- Validation is case-insensitive, but values are stored in the case matching the predefined value. For example, if "France" is the predefined value and a prospect enters "FRANCE", Account Engagement will recognize the field as a match and store it as "France".
