Performance Chart does not show Opportunities on the Home page in Lightning Experience

The performance chart displays data based on your sales team’s opportunities if you have an associated team. Otherwise, the chart displays opportunities you own. Only opportunities for the current sales quarter that are closed or open with a probability over 70% are displayed.. For more information, see Track Your Sales Performance. Apart from the permissions mentioned in the aforementioned documentation, sometimes the cause might be less obvious.

Some things to look at:
  • Standard calendar year is used, unless you are using fiscal years, is your fiscal year set up correct?
  • Whether an Opportunity is closed, it's determined by the type of the stage, not just the label. For more info on Opportunity Stage Type, see: Opportunity Stage Types in Reporting
  • If you are not using the Amount field, the total amount will be zero, so the Chart seems empty, but is actually showing a line at zero.
