Resolve 301 redirects on an Account Engagement Tracker Domain

Veröffentlichungsdatum: Sep 30, 2025
Beschreibung
When your Tracker Domain is set to a different protocol (http/https) than your company's website home page, a 301 redirect will appear. This can cause a brief delay in directing customers to the asset they clicked. A 301 redirect is a permanent redirect. It's like a Change of Address form from the Postal Service. All traffic intended for URL A is permanently routed to URL B, and all link popularity and existing SEO value for URL A should also be transferred to URL B. Learn how to resolve 301 redirects on your Account Engagement Tracker Domain with these steps.
Lösung
Update your Tracker Domain to https to match your website & also updating the Account Settings 'Website' field as we use this to cross check your domain.

1. Navigate to your company's home website page. Is this https or http?
2. Ensure that your Account Engagement 'Website' field in "Account Settings" includes the correct protocol (http/ https) that matches your company's home website page. Update this if necessary.
3. Match your Account Engagement tracker domain's protocol to your company's home website page. Http is enabled by default in Account Engagement. If you would like to enable SSL and default HTTPS for your Account Engagement tracker domain see 'Enable SSL to Use a HTTPS Tracker Domain' and 'SSL for Vanity Domains FAQ' before enabling. To check your Tracker Domain's settings:
  • In Classic, go to AdminDomain Management
  • In the Lightning App, go to Account Engagement Settings > Domain Management
