The "UnsubReason" field in a Marketing Cloud report is populated two different ways:

A Marketing Cloud application user (you or your staff) goes into an individual subscriber's record and manually enters a reason longhand (for example, "Customer doesn't like the colour orange.").
It can also be filled through the API, and there will be a number code which corresponds to the METHOD in which a subscriber elects to be unsubscribed, as opposed to a REASON (for example, an unsubscribe button compared to an anchor link click).
