Prevent records from appearing in 'Recent Items'

Data pubblicazione: Jun 26, 2025
Descrizione

When records are accessed using Apex or through the user interface they are added to the 'Recent Items' list in Classic or the 'Recent Records' component in Lightning so users can easily Open Items You’ve Recently Viewed.

It's not currently possible to directly setup or configure which object records are included in the most recently used (MRU) lists.

You can indirectly prevent a custom object's records from appearing in these lists by deleting the object's custom tab. This is only suitable when users do not need to search for or have direct access to the object's records and will not remove an object's previously accessed records or entries from the list.
