Yes. Salesforce Classic is still available, but it's taken a back seat to newer technologies.
You can temporarily switch back to Classic by clicking your profile icon in the upper right corner of the Lightning Experience header, and then selecting Switch to Salesforce Classic.

In order to remain in Classic UI or to disable automatic switching for users to Lightning Experience, create a permission set using the 'Remain in Salesforce Classic' system permission. This permission will allow users to land in Classic UI when they login.
Chatter Free and Chatter external users can’t be excluded from automatic switching using this permission. The ability to create a permission set for a small group of specific users isn’t available in the Group Edition.
From Setup, create a permission set that includes the `Hide Option to Switch to Salesforce Classic` permission. Then assign the permission set to the desired non admin users, or enable the permission in a custom profile to remove the Switcher from everyone in that profile.
