Cross-object Merge Fields Do Not Work in Email Templates

• The Email Template function cannot process multiple objects.
• From a custom object, you can pull in all fields that have a Parent-Child relationship with fields on that object. Other fields will not be included.
• Related lists on an object will not be included in an email template. See Email template does not merge the fields from a related list.

If Cross Formulas in the email template are not working, enabling the Object setting "Allow Activities" may resolve the issue.
