Change the Salesforce Primary Contact of Your Company

Description

The Primary Contact field on the Company Information page in Salesforce Setup identifies the main person responsible for the Salesforce org. This article explains how to update the Primary Contact, which does not need to be an active user. The Primary Contact field is optional and can reference any internal user or a name entered directly.

Résolution

Change the primary contact for your company using the instructions provided below

  1. From Setup, enter Company Information in the Quick Find box, then select Company Information.
  2. Fill in the Primary Contact field by clicking the Lookup icon beside it
  3. Click Save.


Note: The Primary Contact field is found on the Company Information page in Salesforce Setup. It is optional and accepts both active users and manually entered names.
