Résolution

Force.com Sites cannot be deleted once they are created.

Option 1: Deactivate the Force.com Site

Deactivating a Force.com Site takes it offline without deleting it. The site and its pages remain intact.

  1. Go to Setup > Develop > Sites.
  2. Click Deactivate next to the name of the site you want to deactivate.

Option 2: Re-use the Deactivated Site

You can re-use a deactivated site to house new Force.com Site pages for a different purpose.

  • Choose to delete all or some of the existing pages to fit your new use case.
  • If you want to change the domain name, contact Salesforce Support.

Option 3: Change the Domain Name

If you need a different domain name, contact Salesforce Support with your request.

Note: The archiving feature is only available for Experience Sites. Deactivation is currently the only option for Force.com Sites.
