In Salesforce, the Product Description is a field that exists on the Product (Product2) object but does not automatically carry over to Opportunity Line Items or Quote Line Items. This means Product Description is not natively available in Quote templates. To include this information, you create a text formula field on the Quote Line Item object that references the Product2.Description field, and then add that formula field to your Quote template.
To include the Product Description in a Salesforce Quote template, follow these two steps: first create a formula field on the Quote Line Item object, then modify the Quote template to include it.
